Care Packages

We've had some people ask us about sending care packages so we thought we'd write a blog post to give anyone interested instructions on how to send us packages and also ideas of what to include inside. Although we are quite content with what we can get here in Uganda there is something about receiving a package from home that makes us feel loved and thought about!

Our Mailing Address is:

International Justice Mission
Attn: Drew Hutcheson
P.O. Box 70445
Kampala, Uganda
East Africa

Please when filling out the customs form do not put the retail value of the items in the package. This will cause us to be charged a large amount at the Kampala Post Office. Please list the price as what you would pay for it at a yard sale.

Also, packages take about one month to arrive (sometimes longer) so please do not include things that can melt (chocolate, etc) or things that expire (baked goods, etc).

Items we miss:

- Notes and pictures from YOU!

- Sugarfree Gum: Brand "Wrigley's FIVE" in "RAIN" flavor is our favorite.

- Fels Naptha bar soap (I use it for making my own laundry detergent). Usually found in the laundry aisle.

- Seasonal candy (candy canes, etc.)

- DECAF black tea (we can get regular here)

- Educational DVD's for Isaiah (something that teaches numbers, colors, ABC's, etc.)

- Starbucks VIA

- Blue Diamond Almonds "Wasabi and Soy Sauce" flavor

- Taco seasoning (mild)

- Carnation Malted Milk mix- chocolate

We are SO GRATEFUL for your desire to send us a little taste of home. We are blessed beyond measure by YOU- our wonderful friends and family. THANK YOU!
